Shaq is a media producer and videographer based in Toronto, Canada. His most recent work includes cinematographer credits on artist Säye Skye’s 360/VR music video “ADHD” and producing episodes for former national news anchor and morning show host Priya Sam’s podcast Turning Point.

In 2022, he was a finalist for the Video Arts - Established Award at the Mississauga Arts Awards.

Previously, he produced videos for The Varsity Newspaper, Metrolinx, March of Dimes, Muse: The Brain Sensing Headband, and The STEPS Initiative.

In addition to his filmmaking pursuits, he gained experience on set and in the industry through years of volunteering with the established Toronto International Film Festival, Hot Docs, and the Future of Film Showcase.

Shaq holds an HBA from the University of Toronto, where he focused on Cinema Studies, English literature, and History. He was also a Co-Founder of Toronto New Wave, a non-profit film, music, and interactive media festival.

His favourite filmmakers are David Gordon Green, Mark Duplass, and the Coen Brothers.
